My name is Josie I run Adam and Eve Dressing Service, we offer a discreet luxurious environment, which enables the more nervous customer to quickly relax and start to enjoy the wide range of services we offer.

Josie has developed her skills over the past 12 years and this enables her to create brilliant results, helped with the desire to offer support and advice and with the 3 large wardrobes  at her disposal we endeavour to create the look that is required, I love my work doing makeovers is job satisfaction that can be rivaled.

I have always worked with the Public running Pubs with my family and a restaurant in the East End I am an East End girl and I remember in the 90s by sister-in-law had a Drag Evening in her Pub once a week and I used to watch with fascination the Drag Queens apply their makeup and watch with amazement the ingenuity

they used to create their figures, I also used to love their wit and one liners.

We came out of the hospitality business and moved to Enfield for a quiet life, but it didnt last we missed the hustle and bustle of the East End so back we came, I wanted to work part-time and answered an add in a National Paper for a well paid job selling products to the Transgender community, and so I started my new job I enjoyed meeting the customers and of course putting my skills I had learned from my time watching the Drag Queens, obviously honing the skills to fit girls that wanted to look like real girls, I formed friendships with customers which I still have today, and they used to confide in me as I applied their makeup that I was the first person who they had confided in about their "Other"life I realised also that they wanted more than just to "Dress" and sit there they wanted to be out and accepted and why not and so I decided I could offer this so along with two other girls I set about finding premises that had to be perfect, in a discreet location but within a safe area, coming from the East End I knew Brick Lane and found the perfect place and so Adam and Eve was born.

OUR AIM

When you arrive at Adam and Eve our aim is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed, we can discuss what you would like to achieve from your visit.

We aim to exceed your expectations during your stay with us, you have unlimited access to our 3 extensive wardrobes, a photographic studio where photos can be taken in each outfit as a reminder of your stay with us, this also gives you a chance to explore different looks.

We also want girls to have the confidence to go out and feel safe and the area we are in the girls are made welcome, I arrange different outings, Miss Hide and Sleek weekend in Scotland which the girls love, Goodwood Revival this gives the girls a chance to dress in a bygone era which they love, The Magic Theatere the Enigma Ball at Bletchley Park, the girls go to the Wayout Club and of course all the Bars and Restaurants in Brick Lane and the surrounding area, one of the most popular things I do is escorted shopping trips, this is to Oxford Street, and now Westfield in Stratford is open this is proving popular, when the girls first venture out they soon want to build their own wardrobe once having found a style that suits them, as I offer storage facilities, this is easily achieved and fun doing it as well.

Am I doing this forever? yes as long as the girls come to visit Adam and Eve I will continue to help  forward to seeing you

Getting to Adam and Eve ...

The premises are in Bethnal Green Road, 12 mins walk from Liverpool Street, or if you come out of the main entrance at Liverpool Street tation and catch a No. 8 or a 388 Bus it is four stops to Brick Lane and we are on the opposite side of the road close to Brick Lane.
