Carols Shopping Trip
I arrived at Adam and Eve and the first thing I did was give Josie a hug to thank her for the last time I came down, which was at the beginning of Feb, I didn't have time to say goodbye as I had to leave TX early, once I had done this the day really started. I chatted to Josie whilst she had a cup of tea, this is the time when Josie reassures me that everything will be OK, I knew it would be as Josie was taking me on a full shopping trip, I was looking forward to this, I had been on a mini shopping trip before in January, but found the time passed too quickly.
We discussed what I was going to wear and what was on my shopping list, we decided that we were going to the West End, so off we went to board a No.8 bus to Oxford Circus and Debenhams, once in Debenhams we headed off to the Ladies Department and found a dress straight away next to it a shrug that matched it perfectly, we went to pay for them both and was told the wrong ticket was on the dress and it was a lot more money than we thought, so we left the store empty handed and headed for Marks and Spencers, again we found a perfect dress straight away which was a similar style to the one in Debenhams but not the same colour, we also found a really nice everyday dress We decided go back to Debenhams for shoes, on the way we went to Boots to buy some toiletries, once in Debenhams we went to the shoe department and within minutes found the perfect match shoes to go with the dress, having purchased the shoes so as far as I was concerned I had organised my Sparkle dinner outfit, I am going to the Criterion restaurant on Saturday May 27th.
We decided we had earned a rest so we went to the lower ground floor in Debenhams and ordered coffee, sandwiches and the obligatory cream cakes.
Having rested our weary legs, we headed towards Bond Street tube and back to Adam and Eve, but before we did we stopped off at Claire's Accessories for jewellery to compliment my new outfits.
Once back at Adam and Eve I couldn't wait to try on my new outfits and Josie took pictures of each of the outfits, I was so pleased with everything I bought, I told Josie this was the best shopping trip we had done, I had done several before with Josie but this was the most successful and it was Josie who made it possible, she is like a big sister helping and caring for you in anyway she can.
This time it was my turn to help, Josie's car had broken down and I gave her my one for the weekend as I didn't need it.
